Digital marketing

Everywhere your buyers look, handled.

A website, the campaigns pointed at it, the social accounts beside it, and the listings people check before any of that. One team keeps the whole thing consistent, which is mostly what presence means in practice.

Ask us if funding might be available.

Managing a digital presence means keeping four things in step: a website that loads fast and answers the question, search and answer-engine visibility for the terms buyers actually use, paid campaigns steered against results rather than set and left, and accurate business listings wherever people check. Most small businesses have all four, owned by nobody, drifting apart at different speeds.

What goes wrong

Ads are just the beginning.

The hard part is everything after the click — whether the site loads, whether the form goes anywhere, whether anyone answers. Spending more at the top of that doesn't fix any of it.

The destination is slower than the campaign.

A site built on a heavy theme takes four seconds on a phone, which is where most local searches happen. You paid for the click either way.

The form goes to an inbox nobody owns.

Leads arrive, sit, and go cold. This is the most common and least visible failure we find, and it is not a marketing problem.

The listings disagree with each other.

Different hours on Google than on Apple Maps, an old address on Bing, a phone number that rings a line you stopped using. Each one quietly costs you.

Nobody's steered it since launch.

Campaigns get built well and then left. Twelve months later the budget is going to keywords that stopped converting in month three.

Key stats

What we do

Four surfaces, kept in step.

A site built to perform, found where buyers look, campaigns that compound, and social that shows up — in the order a buyer meets them.

Step 01

A site built to perform

A managed site that loads fast, meets accessibility standards, and is tuned for search and AI answers. No plugins to babysit, no Core Web Vitals to chase.

Step 02

Found where buyers look

SEO and GEO so you show up in Google and get named in AI answers. For a local business, being hard to find is the same as being closed.

Step 03

Campaigns that compound

Curated campaigns on the platforms your buyers use, steered every month so conversions climb instead of drifting. Someone is finally accountable for the spend.

Step 04

Social that shows up

We keep your social presence active and on brand across the platforms your customers actually use, so you stay top of mind without it becoming your evening job.

Step 05

Listed where buyers check

Your name, address, hours, and photos kept accurate and verified on Google Business Profile, Bing Places, and Apple Business Connect, so the same trustworthy listing feeds Maps, search, and AI answers.

Answer engines

Answer engine optimization: being the source the AI quotes.

When someone asks an assistant which business to use for something in Ottawa, it names one. We optimise for that the way we optimise for search — structured facts, dated claims, direct answers, clean schema — so the source it quotes is you.

This is different work from ranking, not the same work with a new name. A search engine returns a list a person scans; an answer engine picks one and states it. Getting picked means the page has to answer the question in a sentence that can stand on its own — which is also, not coincidentally, what makes a page fast to read and easy to trust.

We build this in as part of the same work that gets a site found in search, rather than selling it as a separate line: schema markup that says who you are consistently across every page, FAQ content in the phrasing people actually ask, and a site structure an answer engine can parse without guessing.

The order we'd do it in

We'd rather fix the destination first.

This is where we differ from an agency, and it costs us revenue in the first month, so it's worth explaining.

More traffic into a business that can't handle the leads it already has makes things worse, not better. If the site is slow, or the enquiry lands in an inbox nobody watches, or the person who'd follow up is the same person on a roof, then the campaign is converting your money into frustration efficiently.

So we look at the destination and the follow-up first. Often that's a small piece of work and we turn campaigns on the same month. Sometimes it means we tell you not to spend on ads yet, which is a strange thing for the party being paid to run them to say, and is exactly why we say it.

We're not built for enterprise budgets or brand campaigns. If you need a national creative strategy, we're the wrong shop. If you need to be the obvious choice within an hour's drive, we're well set up for that.

This lands differently depending on what you run — see who we work with.

Questions we get about this.

Do we have to buy the website to get the campaigns?

No. If your site is sound we'll say so and spend the budget on demand instead. We'll audit it either way before we recommend anything — that part's free and you keep the findings.

How is this different from hiring a marketing agency?

An agency is measured on what it can control, which is usually clicks. We also run the systems the lead lands in, so we can follow it all the way to a booked job and tell you which campaigns produced revenue rather than traffic. It also means when the form breaks, it's ours to fix.

What is GEO, and does it matter yet?

Generative engine optimization — see answer engine optimization above for the full explanation. Short version: it matters now for research-heavy and comparison queries, the ones where a buyer asks an assistant who to use for something in Ottawa, and we build it in rather than selling it separately.

Do you lock us into a contract?

Month to month with 30 days' notice, on every service. Website plans carry a one-time setup cost; there's no minimum term after it. Numbers are on the pricing page.

Can you work with the site we already have?

Usually. We'll tell you honestly when a rebuild is cheaper than the accumulated fixes — that's normally true of older page-builder sites where performance can't be recovered without pulling the theme out.

Will you handle our Google Business Profile?

Yes, along with Bing and Apple. It's unglamorous and it's frequently the highest-return thing we do in the first month, particularly for anyone with a service area rather than a storefront.

Send us your site.

We'll come back with what's slow, what's missing, and what we'd change first — whether or not you hire us. Once we run it, visits, impressions, and quotes given and won get reported the same way every month — one part of your business's health, run by us.
